St David’s Day Reusable Bunting for Porthcawl Shop Windows

Thanks to Bridgend County Borough Council who contributed to the costs of the St David’s Day bunting. The Porthcawl Chamber of Trade were delighted to be able to supply local traders with a couple of metres of Welsh flag-designed, locally made cotton bunting, to celebrate the patron saint of Wales.

Porthcawl based Cwtchable Creations were commissioned to make handmade, washable, reusable and repairable, Welsh flag cotton bunting.

The aim was to choose a more durable product and reduce the amount of plastic ending up in the environment, whilst supporting a local business.

The bunting is to be collected and stored by the Chamber for reuse next year.
